*SEMESTER PROJECT*
For my semester project I want to create an almost life-sized poster of a woman and connect various parts of her body with artists such as Frida Kahlo, Judy Chicago, Rosa Bonheaur and other moving artists. My semester project will represent both the liberation of the woman through art and the acceptance of ourselves. For instance, the woman's fallopian tubes will be cut out of one of Judy Chicago's plates from her masterful piece "The Dinner Party," this will represent the sexual liberation of women through art. The woman's heart will be cut out from Frida Kahlos "The Two Fridas," and this will represent women's liberation to love who they desire. Her head will be half a sugar skull like those done for El Dia De Los Muertos or Day of The Dead and this will represent her non conforming behavior to societal roles and expectations. The Background of the poster board will be propaganda in favor of women from the Guerilla Girls.

This sounds like an incredible project, I cannot wait to see the outcome! It sounds like tough job to connect these different artists to form one piece, I am honestly very curious and excited.
