Semester Proposal
For my end-of-term project, I will be using the speech given by Patricia Arquette during the Oscars as well as her comments afterwards as the basis for my analysis and dissection of "White" Feminism as a whole, specifically in terms of the erasure of black women and people of color.

This is a very important topic. I think using this recent speech is a great focus to address various issues and there will be plenty of writing found for you to research and include in your project. ELABORATE your idea! Please give more specifications and examples to help us understand your idea. Who is your intended audience? What do you plan to accomplish? We have already spoken in class but I would like to see much more detail in this post! I would like you to reach out to Ashley Okwuosa and her blog (which is also a Rutgers Newark based project) https://understandingfeminismblog.wordpress.com/2014/04/07/understandingfeminism/. They have a submission process on the site, but email her and copy me to get the process rolling sooner!
