#NameFivewomenArtists

The popular question all semester which was asked various times was "Can you name five women artists?" for a good reason. Many of us were unable to respond to the question with five names, and this is where this website will help solve this problem. We all attended class so by semesters end it is obvious that we all can sit here and name various names of women artists, but what about the people who did not attend this class? Will they be able to name at least five artists? This is where my idea of spreading the knowledge I learned this semester comes into play. This website is equipped with tabs on the left side as shown above that help you navigate a user through the website efficiently. Included in the second tab is a "Think you know" quiz where it asks to identify the author based on a glimpse of a painting (highly recommend everyone takes a look and tries it out). I have included ten women artists on this website as a beginning to what can be increased into many more. At the top of every page there is a hashtag. This was inspired by the professor in attempts to use #namefivewomenartists in order to take twitter by storm and spread women art to the biggest amount of people possible. The goal of this website is to have any single person enter the website, and be able to name five women artists by the time they reach the bibliography tab.
