Semester Project
My semester project will be to interview a current student at Rutgers University who is an aspiring artist/ poet. I will explore her struggles of being an African American women who lives in the inner city. She has been raised with many challenges as a poet and writer. She is mentor for the youth group called Popcorn Kids. This is a program dedicated to helping children all of ages and race with creativity, heritage and supports for development. She will create a poem in relation to the struggle of black woman who felt lost and without hope.

I think that it is very interesting how you were able to find someone that struggles with the issue of being a women at this modern day. I also love how she is affiliated with art as well. This is very interesting, considering the fact that it has so much t d with class and the discussions and problems that we discuss daily.
